I also played cards with Bob. Watch out if you set him! When he got you, he had this boyish grin that was infectious. Nice guy & fun. Sorry for his loss .

Shirley and families, our deepest sympathy for the loss of Bob. Our fond memories of when you and Bob would make the trip down to Turtle Lake to visit family. Bobs smile, and friendly personality along with sitting at grandmas table playing cards will always be in our hearts. God. Bless all of you.

oooh, Mrs. Sollman and family, I am deeply sorry for your loss. He was such a kind and thoughtful man and I often thought how lucky Jim's mom and step dad were to have friends like you two. God bless.

Shirley and family, I am sorry to hear of you loss of Bob, your soulmate and dad and grand dad. His infectious smile and boisterous laugh made my day, while working in the Senior Center Cafe. I miss you all, and will keep you in prayer.

“Uncle Bob,” as I knew him was a good man. As a child visiting my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins in South Haven, he kept me and my brother and sister busy doing fun things during our visits. From canoeing, fishing, going to the beach (Dead Aylwives tossing fights on South Beach!) Pool tournaments… and the list goes on. I have many fond memories of him. Bob worked hard but was always a lot of fun. Rest in peace Bob. You will be missed by so many.

Spent many wonderful days and hours with Bob, fishing on the big lake, inland lakes around South haven and fishing and camping on the Little Manistee River. Enjoyed hunting in Canada, Wyoming, and at the "last minute camp" in the Western part of the upper peninsula. Many wonderful memories to reflect on with Bob, his Brother in law Doyle Bingham, and good friend Havis King. Rest in peace my friend. You will be missed by many whose lives you have touched and your laughter you shared.
