Thoughts and prayers from our family to you. My husband, Al Rhodes was in Marine Corps League, in Elizabeth City with your Mom and Dad. We all had so much fun, two of the nicest people you could ever meet! Al and your Dad shared the same Birthday. Al passed away July 28, 2022. Bless you all!

Bob and Nan were Friends of Bill W and they encouraged hundreds of hurting souls, including me, to give sobriety an honest try. I did and I am forever grateful to a pair of recovering alcoholics and Marines, who truly walked a Twelve Step life of authentic sobriety. Thank you, Bob and Nan, for showing us the way.

So sorry to Bob’s Family. Me being a co member of AA, Bob was an inspiration and a great friend to many. And had many words of encouragement to share. He will be missed.

Oh my fabulous friend, how I miss you already. You’re words, your friendship and your loyal heart touched me everyday. Give Nan a big hug from me. Rest peacefully in the arms of Jesus. Love you!

It is so sad to hear that Bob passed unexpectedly. I'm grateful my daughter and I were able to talk with him and he was able to see so many family members at the recent Deja reunion. He was a very sweet man and will be missed. I just recently saw the beautiful statue of the Blessed Mother that he donated in Nancy's honor to St. Joseph Catholic Church South.
