Dick was a great guy who welcomed us into his life when we became neighbors in 2014. He always had time for a conversation and he loved talking “everything bikes” ! Dick will be greatly missed. We will treasure the memories of our friend, and we send love & comfort to Sharon and his family.

I will always remember Mr. Linden fondly. He was at Tinley Park High School when I attended. After I graduated, I moved to Michigan with my parents and sister. Much to my surprise, I ran into Mr. and Mrs. Linden in St. Joseph, MI. I did not see them often, but when I did, he always remembered me. I’m sure he will be missed by his family and friends. I pray they find comfort in their memories of him.

Our condolences to the entire Linden family. Dick served as a mentor and friend when I joined the District 228 Team in 1991 and played a major role in helping me to transition into my new position as Associate Principal at OFHS. A real gentleman, who was modest, caring and always professional.

Richard was one of the nicest men I was privileged to work with on committees. I worked at Oak Forest in the dean’s office. He had a good wit & always a pleasure to be with. My sincere sympathies to your family.
