I remember Mr. Freudenburg from Keeler School, I did not realize he was only 10 years older than I was. He was my 8th grade teacher.

My sincere condolences to the Freudenburg family upon the passing of your most beloved one. As a former student of "Mr. Freudenburg" I would like to share an email I sent to him after a 2009 Keeler Kids class reunion: "I don't know if you realize what an amazing difference you made when you came to our school as principle and teacher. I was only in 4th grade, but I could feel the difference. There was an excitement as the first real football team was formed that fall. You were enthusiastic, tireless and so creative. Besides three R's, we were exposed to music, art, theatre, current events, boy/girl's competitive sports. Looking back from an adult perspective, I know it was amazing all that you tried to do with us little country kids." Well done Paul Freudenburg; now you rest in peace with your Lord and Savior
