Dear Don and Family So sorry for the loss of your twin sister Linda. She would always call and send my mother Wanda cards. My mom and I went to visit Linda and her pretty white cat at the Willows a few times. I remember going to visit at your folks house on Empire when we were all young. Your mom and dad were my godparents. Rest in Heaven Miss Linda. Nancy Adler Kietzer Wanda’s daughter.

Being Linda's twin brother there are many stories I could share about my sister. Linda was known for her friendship, empathy, and compassion. She had a poor sense of direction but had a great sense of humor. When younger, she often traveled, went to museums, and art festivals. Linda loved going to rummage sales and collecting antiques (especially depression glass). She also had a deep concern for the environment. While she dated several gentlemen when younger, she never married. Her companions through the years were her cats whom she loved dearly. Linda was one to keep in touch with old friends and family through cards and phone calls. She remembered birthdays, anniversaries, and the times when someone lost a loved one. When she moved out of her house to the nursing home, she left behind over 700 cards – get well, sympathy, thinking of you, etc. Linda loved her home in Kalamazoo. It was a beautiful home, known by the neighbors as “The Castle.” Linda remained a member of Grace in St. Joe her who life. She loved the congregation and had many faithful friends there and former classmates from her grade school days. She attended there as often as she could and supported it with her offerings. While dementia stole much of her mental abilities, she could still sing hymns and say prayers from memory close to the end of her life. The last few years of Linda’s life were spent at the Willows Assisted Living. The greatest blessing. during her stay there, came from the faithful ministers who served her as well as several angels (alias – friends from Grace) that brought her much joy and support in the last years of her life. Their reward will be revealed in heaven. Can't wait to see Mom, Dad, Rick, and Linda. Come, Lord Jesus!
