I am so sad and sorry for the loss of Lenny. He was one of the first people who made me feel at home at South Haven First Assembly God. He was always upbeat and had a smile and a joke that lightened the place. He was steadfast in our prayer meetings and was an asset on the board. He was quick to lend a helping hand as well as a strong hand shake! I will miss that great attitude and demeanor he had right up to the last time I saw him. Lenny sir, I will see you again in the heavenly realm and do what I can to comfort your family here on earth. Thank you for being who God created you to be!

Mary and family, so sorry in hearing of your loss … I had pleasure of working with your Lenny out of St.Joe systems, long ago. I enjoyed being around him as he was energetic (under statement), smart, positive , could tell a good story, make me laugh. His love of family was inspiring. He will be missed. He was one of the good ones. So glad I got to know you Lenny.

My condolences! Uncle Lenny left so many fond memories with the laughter and jokes! He will be missed greatly!! I wish I would’ve been able to learn ham radio from a pro, so much to learn!

Over the years and miles, heartfelt memories are held closely of the family get togethers. The many card games, volleyball and the tremendous feasts that were shared. I will always remember him as a happy go lucky kind of guy with a positive can do attitude. May the good Lord take him into his tender and loving care as he watches over those left behind, to remember all that was good, forgive what was wrong. This as we await our own passing and reunification in the promised resurrection. All my Love, Jesse

Lenny was a great radio operator, an active member of the Black River Amateur Radio Club, and a great friend. He was on the K8BRC repeater almost daily, right up until the end. The news Wednesday evening was at once sad and wonderful, as Lenny finished this battle with grace, and is now rejoicing. Until next time, Len, 73. Randall, N8RAB
