Ken leaves behind a legacy of faithful service to his country, his community and his church. It was a pleasure to have worked side with him in the Lord's work in sharing the good news of Jesus with so many people, Love in Christ, Pastor and Mrs. Ron Freier

I am very, very sorry to learn of Ken's death. For a few years we sat together in meetings of the Finance Committee of the Berrien County Commission. I gained enormous respect for Ken. Berrien County Citizens owe him an enormous debt. He got the finances of Berrien County on a sound basis, away from the New Deal John Maynard Keynes deficit financing excesses which still haunt us today. He cared deeply about every cent of the peoples' money he was in charge of spending. Today's governments still don't really care about how they are spending the people's money. Good night sweet prince.
