So sorry to hear that Kathleen is no longer on this earth. I had the pleasure of knowing her from all her years at South Shore. She was quite the tennis player. We shared many conversations and laughs over the years. My thoughts and prayers are with Phil, Shawn and John and the entire family...

To all the family and friends of Kathleen, we send our condolences. She was such a wonderful mentor in the area of fairness and equal rights. Her ideals will line on in so many who were fortunate enough to call her friend.

To Phil and your family my deepest sympathies and thoughts are with you during this difficult time. Kathleen was one of the kindest, most genuine people I ever had the pleasure of meeting. As many of us can attest, she was a true champion for women’s role in democracy which is how I initially met her. Not only did she become a great ‘political buddy’ but a friend as well. She will be missed but I’ve no doubt her work towards the beliefs she was so passionate about will leave a lasting mark on the community and the people in it.

Dear Phil, Shawn, and Kathleen's entire family...Kathleen was one of those souls who truly walked her talk and lived out her values of peace, love and justice. I only got to know her in the last quarter of her life when she and her Democratic female friends created the Berrien County Democratic Women. Through Shawn and my sis-in-law Cathy, we met, and I joined. She and these women became a force for good in Berrien County which will last forever. And no woman could have a better partner than Phil. Thank you for sharing her with us. Hers was a remarkable, well lived, and well-loved life. God bless.
