John's Obituary
John Foster Rutz, 68, of Watervliet, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 in St. Joseph. He was born February 17, 1954 in Grand Rapids, MI to Leo Rutz and Marian (Foster) Danielson.
John worked as a screen printer, an art form he really enjoyed, along with air brushing. He also enjoyed spending time on his catamaran. He owned and restored a Karmenn Ghia, which he proudly displayed at various area car shows. But his true passion was all things Disney, and restoring vintage bicycles.
John is survived by his sister, Carol (Mike) Emery; and his cousins, Edwin (Marcia) Foster, III and Judith (David) Martens. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Services for John will be held privately. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution in John’s name, may be directed to a Memorial Tree Program, honoring John’s love for the environment.
