I cleaned for Jan and Dave for many years at their St. Joseph home. They are both loving caring people. Jan often hugged me when she saw me. She always asked about my family and was happy to tell me about all the nice things going on with her family. She was so proud of her children and grandchildren and spoke of them often. Jan was very patient and flexible always being understanding if I was running late or needed to reschedule. I always enjoyed our talks and enjoyed cleaning for them. Jan and Dave had a huge love and respect for each other. I never saw them get cross with each other and never heard either speak negatively of one other. Their love is to be admired. My condolences go out to the family and David. She was a special one of a kind person may she rest in peace.❤❤

Jan and I were roommates at Hope College our freshman year. We had a wonderful corner room at Voorhees Hall. I have many fond memories of that year and our friendship over the years. Our thoughts are with Dave and Jan's children and grandchildren.

Nancy and I enjoyed a long friendship in Naples, FL, highlighted by our weekly brunches after church. We have missed Dave and Jan since they gave up their Nales home. While we visited each other's MI homes from time to time, this was never frequent enough. Jan was always a delighful conversationalist during our brunches as we all shared personal and family 'goings on'. Rest in peace, Jan.
