I was saddened to hear of Greg's passing. He was in the same grade as me and I rode the school bus with him and his brothers and sisters in the 60s and 70s'. He always seemed like a gentle soul.

There are just no words to say to make this go away and that makes it tougher. We are going to miss every single little thing about his love and kindness towards us and so many hundreds of people that ever even if just a mere passerby in his lifetime, he left an everlasting impression on them as well and what a nice thought to have of him. We are all blessed, so blessed to have known him for the time he was here, some not as long as others but still, what a blessing, and wonderful memories that we can continue to share the rest of our lives. We all have to grieve, it's normal and he knew we would but then would want us all to move forward and still have get-togethers and talk about him and the love, laughter and fun we've always had with him because he will always be with us.. We love you all forever and will be just a phone call away if and when you need us..God bless you all..

I never had the fortune to meet Greg but know what an amazing man he was based on the stories I’ve heard from Jeremy. Sending love and prayers from North Carolina to help comfort you during this difficult time.

George, Sonny, Candy and all of Greg’s family I am so sorry to hear about Greg’s passing. Greg was a great guy. I will always remember in the late 1970’s at the trailer, Greg playing Elton John’s Someone Saved My Life Tonight over and over again. May the love of family and friends and your wonderful memories of Greg carry you through your grief.

I am sorry for all of those close to Greg in the earlier life and most recent. My dad would always take me to visit and all I remember is them setting me up to fish or catch/find crawdads. Even to this day, him and George would ask about me and how I'm doing and I'm thankful for that. I hope you're doing well George.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Is my cousin Greg. Even though it's been many many years since I've been back in Michigan I still remember when we have our family reunions On Linco road. My thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and family and to my other cousins. I'm sorry that I lived so far away that I was not able to attend the service and pay my respects.

Greg was the best Dad. He always had time for his kids no matter what the day held. I remember staying with them one summer and Candy and Greg took us to Showbiz pizza in Benton Harbor, after working all day. Anyone who knew Greg knew how hard he worked. After entertaining us the hay had to be grabbed from the field. So Candy in the silver Ford pickup drove around the field in the dark while we (Jake,Jesse and me) slept. The whole point to this little story is after we got back to their house and we were all in bed. Greg made sure to come in and tuck the boys in and kiss them good night. If it would have been earlier he would have played with them for as long as they wanted him too. He was an incredibly special man. I know he is up there with God sitting in amazement as Greg plays with all the kids who’s parents haven’t join them yet.

We gathered for a reunion. A group decided to head to our recently baled hayfield to play baseball. I think I was about 12 & Greg about 16. He and his brothers paid me special attention. I really appreciated and respected them. Greg could really hit a ball. That was one of my special baseball experiences.
