I was so very saddened to hear about this and send my heartfelt condolences to Deb, Ryan, and Justin. Greg was a great guy and I will always cherish the memories from the many years of summers spent together with the best baseball parent group ever.

Having worked at LMC with Greg for 20 some years, I got to know him pretty well. I always appreciated his professionalism, leadership, and his passion to make a positive difference. Over the years, working closely with him, we did a lot of good work, and with his great sense of humor, had a lot of good laughs. He was a great guy, and I will miss him deeply.

When Greg left the Ypsilanti Chamber of Commerce to join Eastern Michigan University, I took his old job. We quickly became good friends and decided to become roommates sharing a place at Country House apartments in Pittsfield Township and then later we bought a condo together. He would bring garbage bags full of fresh asparagus back from his dad's farm and we would have a feast. We went on fishing trips together and shared many good times. There are very few people in this world who were as creative, caring, and compassionate as Greg. He left us much too soon and my condolences to Deborah and his entire family. God bless.

I had the pleasure of working with Greg Koroch during my years as President at LMC. He was my trusted friend and colleague and I came to know that his hard work and honesty were the cornerstone of his relationship with all who came to know him. We shared the good times and the difficult times. I will miss him terribly. My love to Deb and Ryan and Justin and their families. May they seem him in every sunset on the Lake and every sunrise over the peach orchards near Spinks Corner…and feel his presence always.

Greg was one of the best human beings I have ever had the honor of knowing and spending time with. All the way back to the days at BHHS, to him standing next to me on my wedding day, and to the years later; Greg always displayed a unique dignified strength, coupled with honesty, warmth, and affection. The often used phrase at a time like this, is that "he will be missed." Nothing can be further from the truth as it relates to Greg. The world truly needs more like him. Yet, I will smile when I think of his laugh, and remember my friend who was so full of life.

Greg's father, uncle's, and grandfather were Spinks Corners pioneers where we grew up together. It was always fun to unload peaches, play sandlot games, or later cram for the Money and Banking (econ CMU) class final with Greg. May memories of his smile, his strength, and his optimistic attitude continue to bless us.

I also was raised in Spinks Corners and remember Greg very well. Always remember Greg as a very kind person. I hadn’t connected with Greg until I ran into to him at LMC. Our sympathies to his family and friends.
