Dear Family: it is with great sadness that I write this. Our side of the family just now ( August 15th) found out about the passing of Ginger. She was our cousin. We have fond memories of her from our childhood. Ginger had the sweetest spirit a woman could have. She was gentle, kind, softspoken, and warm. While we do not communicate regularly with family, we are still VERY sad to hear of her passing. May she rest in peace, and may all of the close family she had be given peace at this difficult time.

Dear Scott, I am so sorry for your loss. I know you and your Mom were very close and the pain of losing her is enormous. As you know we are dealing with our own loss of our son and brother Ray. It’s just so confusing and heartbreaking. I know he would be there for you if he could. We just have to have faith and know that we will be reunited with those we love someday. God bless you, Scott.

Dear Ginger, One of my earliest childhood memories is of going next door to meet Scott who had just moved it. How great that there is a new kid in the neighborhood to play with. I think Scott was three and I was six. So we grew up together. All of us really. The Moms and the kids. The other day I was in Covert and I cannot go any direction to Covert without remembering all the visits to Grandma Wines home. So much about life was learned through listening during all of the visits. Just visiting while watching you lovingly cook for Scott. I feel like your family was my family and I am so grateful for the time you shared with me, the time your family shared with me. So many opportunities were given to me by you. Trips to the beach, mini golf, the drive in. I am sad that you are gone, but cannot help thinking about how you outlived your body time after time. To the rest of your family, I am sending you lots of love & light and continued gratitude. Much Love, Bonnie

Many years may have passed but your friendship remains in my heart forever. Ginger, more than a spark of light; a firecracker! Even though you had to overcome many obstacles, it never kept you from enjoying life to the fullest. Remembering: walks to Rocky Gap, fireworks in New Buffalo, BBQ's at home and lunches at Pizza Hut; you were always up for an adventure. Also, simple days of just hanging out and talking. Those were such special days. It was a blessing having you for a friend. As I am reminded in the Holy Scripture, Philippians 3:20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. See you soon my friend, love, Brenda

No matter how much time we spent together during our earthly lives, it still was not enough time. I miss you dearly already. How do I say goodbye to my big sister/best friend? I don't. I just say, "Wait patiently for me. I will join you, someday at our new address, HEAVEN". I love you to the moon and back. ? ❤️ LoveSherry

I love you Mom... so much. You were/are my world. You were/are my best friend. The only thing that keeps me going is knowing you have no more pain and you are in heaven with Jesus. I am a strong christian because of you too. I know I will be with you some day in heaven. Say hi to Gramma Rhoads for me. I promise I will keep your legacy alive through my christian actions. I will take good care of your dog Morgan. I can tell she misses you too so much. She looks out the window for you. Thank you for all the wonderful memories you given me over the years. Thank you for all the bible quote poster and pictures you have all over the house. I took them for granted when you were alive, but cherish them now. You always knew things to do to touch my heart. I love you so much mom.
