George's Obituary
George relocated to the Grand Mere area of Stevensville in 1989 after raising his children in Illinois. His family owned several parcels of property in the area since 1938. During his life, George and his family spent many weekends during the summer working on the family cottages and then enjoying free time on the family beach. He enjoyed throwing horseshoes and slalom skiing behind the family boat with his cigar in his mouth, his hat on his head, and wearing his sunglasses. George was a proud lifetime member of the NRA and in the fall, he enjoyed his passion for waterfowl hunting with his children and other family members. He passed this passion on to his children.
George loved living in the Grand Mere area and made many friends there over the years. Neighbors could count on him to keep an eye on their properties, take in their trash cans, and be the neighborhood watchman. George loved his family and cherished the many friendships he made. He enjoyed walking his dogs through the neighborhood and in the Grand Mere state park. He was a man that had little wealth, yet he gave to many and lived a rich fulfilled life.
George is survived by his children, Adam (Beth) Gregule, Christina (Louie) Vogl, and John Gregule; his niece, Marilyn Cunat; his grandchildren, Nicole Gregule, Alexandra Gregule, Anastacia Gregule, Amalia Gregule, Cortney Kaminski, and Justin Margiotta; and three great-grandchildren.
