Sue and family, I was sad to hear about your great loss. What a beautiful obituary, so much I didn’t know about him. I do know that he was a part of our Guam family, and he will be welcomed with open arms by those who went before him. Kate

So many memories. So many good times. From parent teacher conferences when I was Stephanie's kindergarten teacher to the wonderful Guam reunion on what was then a vacant lot in South Haven to last year when Frank and Chip stopped by and we had lunch at the Arizona Inn. He will be missed.

On behalf of the members and member companies of the Association of Catholic Publishers, I wish to express our sincere condolences to Sue and the Cunningham family. Frank was an active member of our association and was inducted into the ACP Hall of Fame in 2005. Frank was a friend and a mentor to many in the Catholic publishing community and was respected by all. His accomplishments and leadership were significant, and we celebrate his life. Frank was a personal friend of mine and he will be missed. God Bless Frank and his family.

Hello Sue, I am so very sorry to hear the news about Frank. I learned about it at Aldi of all places from Mary Andrews. You know after he retired he became the sweetest man ever. No more pressure from Ave Maria Press. I loved getting hugs from him anytime he would visit the shop. Also when I saw him at colleague funerals. Had no idea it was that ill. I wish you all the best. God bless you and the children. Love, Jan.

Hi Sue Its been years since I last saw you and Frank, but I still remember fondly sharing a bottle of wine and talking into the night. He was a finest friend, and a damn fine soccer coach. I just finished his book and happily found the wordsmith and friend again. What a life to celebrate. God be with you both. Joe Bellina

Always enjoyed talking to Frank at Captain Nemo’s. We would talk Irish football and what Glenn Pietenpol was up to. Now the both of them can have a cup together. He will be missed in South Haven.
