We encourage you to share your most beloved memories of David here, so that the family and other loved ones can always see it. Share your favorite stories or comment on those shared by others.
My beloved brother-youngest of our family and a wonderful last addition. We all chose your name, David Richard, after two kings of England as Dad suggested. Our father died when we were all quite young, but we grew up happy and helped our wonderful mother hold the family together. David, especially, developed his independent, self-assured, sometimes cocky, personality at an early age. Anne was a much loved part of our family long before they married and was, always, the greatest part of his happy family and sucessful life. With all of us left behind, I will miss you both so much. Rest in peace until we all meet together again. All my love always. Marylea

Growing up and visiting my Uncle Dave, Aunt Anne, and 3 awesome cousins David, Marc, and Michael were always fun times. Sometimes the whole family of aunts, uncles, and cousins would come together at Grammie Williams house in Benton Harbor. I often wished we lived closer to my Funcle (favorite and FUN uncle) He was smart, funny, kind, and a heck of a story teller. When Aunt Anne passed, I was lucky to spend some wonderful quality time with Uncle Dave in the days before her service. I will cherish that time always. Uncle Dave, you have lived a very full and very successful life. For that I am grateful. You are now reunited with the love of your life. The rest of us miss you so very much Love Always, Susan

Although Dave was two years ahead of me in high school, for sixty years he joined my classmates and myself at nearly every class reunion's Friday night gatherings and Sunday brunches. He was a great friend to so many, and we felt that he was one of "ours". I always looked forward to his terrific smile, his sunny disposition, and his cherished friendship. He is, and will continue to be, greatly missed. RIP, dear friend.

Dear Williams Family: Dave and I were junior/senior high school classmates, becoming good friends when Dave lived on Broadway Street. Dave was every bit the wonderful person described in the obituary. State strong in your pride for him. In Christian Love,

Dave it was great we had a two hour talk of old times at Pine Ridge. Having also in the class of 55, we have been friends many years when we boxed golden gloves, had many good times at the Y and class breakfasts. At Pine Ridge we were planning on having lunch every week. Rest in peace my old friend. Jerry Orlaske

As a boy growing up with Dave's oldest son David, I spent many a night with the Williams family. They were a very important part of my childhood and I always felt like part of the family. Both Dave and Anne were wonderful people and I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Williams passing. My condolences and prayers to the family.
