Tim was life. He brought his spirit, soul and hope for the best to everything he did. I was lucky enough to team up with him as my client, mentor, challenger and dear friend when he was at LOL. They were the best years of my career. By far. I try my damnedest to bring his wisdom, taste and gusto for more to everything I do every day. And let's be honest, one thing I most are his completely inappropriate stories. God, how I miss his stories! All my best to Jeff and his family. Tim's passing is a loss to so many, but no more so than to you. Peace & Love.

I was so sad to hear about Tim’s passing. We worked together at JWT in the golden days (mid-90’s, baby!) and I adored his wit and wisdom. Condolences to all who had the gift of him in their lives!

I was terribly saddened to hear this news. We send our heartfelt sympathies to Jeff and the entire family. We didn't know Tim well but I never forgot meeting him at Welcott Farms. His kindness and compassionate spirit just radiated and I walked away thinking what a lovely man.

I met Tim at The Outsiders Art Show in Harbert . I knew I loved him immediately when we our conversation went from art to dogs. I later moved from Chicago to Colorado but kept in contact with Tim , we would discuss art, dogs and politics . I love you Tim and will miss you so very much. Be at Peace and we will meet again at the Rainbow Bridge..

I am stunned and heartbroken to hear of Tim’s passing. He was an amazing human being with quick wit, deep empathy, and eternal optimism. We became friends when I was at Kraft and he was at McGarryBowen…he was my “partner in crime” and we have been friends ever since. When I moved to Minnesota, he took me under his wing, introducing me to the marketing community and an amazing organization, The BrandLab. He reached out a couple of times recently and, in the chaos of a move to IL, I missed the opportunity to connect with him. My condolences to you, Jeff, and his entire family, on the loss of this amazing man. I will forever count myself fortunate to have known him.

So stunned to hear of Tim's passing. My son and I met Tim while looking for tickets to a Michigan State football game. While seeing Tim only 2 or 3 times per year, I considered Tim and Courtney to be my friends. He was a great Spartan and person. My thoughts and prayers go out to Tim, his daughter Courtney, and his entire family. So sorry! Go Green!

I'm so sorry to hear of Tim's passing. I worked with him over the years in advertising and last I saw him, I led a fireside chat with him at a marketing event in Chicago in 2018. He always made me feel welcomed and included in our professional work and I loved hearing stories from him. He will be missed.

Please accept my sincere condolences on Tim's sudden passing. I had the pleasure of working with Tim twice in my career; once as a client in his DDB days when I was at General Mills and once as a colleague at Land O'Lakes. Tim was a treasured business partner with a great creative instinct, just enough audacity and a champion of ideas and people. He had a huge and generous spirit and enlivened any room he entered. I hope his memory is a comfort to you all.

Thinking of you Jeff and Courtney, with lots of love! Tim was my favorite advertising ‘boss’ and kindred MSU spirit! I always looked for him at the home games on the 50 yard line (even last weekend)! All my love, Kimberly (Rodriguez) Newman
