Carwana was one my best friends. We met at St. Matthews in 7th grade and went through Michigan Lutheran together. I miss talking to her almoat daily and still want to call to talk. I think of all our good times together and will cherish them in my heart.

Carwana will be missed! Especially around Thanksgiving time. We would always make sure she had a place to spend Thanksgiving and if she couldn’t make it we sought a plate to her! I would also get frequent texts or calls checking up on us! A great cousin she was! Every time I had salmon I would text to see if she wanted any, or fried fish! GOD is in control for sure! As we said she will be missed!

I became friends when I first started going to St. Matthew’s Lutheran school. As we got to know one another pretty well, their home was the only place I could stay over night. We did pretty much everything together. We went to the same high school and still stayed in contact once we went off to different colleges after high school. Carwana was more than my friend, she was my sister, she was family. We had our ups and downs, but we always worked it out. We always had one another’s back. Our last conversation, was about saving up and taking us a vacation together. We wanted to go to the Bahamas. Before we hung up I said to her, come home, we can help one another because we don’t want to lose you and she said in an upbeat tone, Tiffaney you’re not going to lose me, then she said I love you, let me get off this phone and I will call you later. That phone call never happened later on. I will forever miss my best friend, my sister, my family. RIH Carwana!♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Carwana was like another aunt to me. Her and my mother have been best friends for almost their whole lives and there has never been a time where I remember Carwana not being in my life. My favorite memory with her was my senior year spring break in 2021 when she, my mom, and I (along with Prince) took a trip to the Grand Canyon. It was one the best things I’ve ever experienced and that entire trip we spent together was nothing short of amazing. Any time she would travel back to Michigan and bring me a salad from my favorite place near where she lived is something I will forever appreciate and miss. I miss and love you immensely!
