We are so sorry to hear of Bud's passing. What a truly wonderful person he was. We had the pleasure of him driving w/Shirley in our post wedding ceremony "drive" and many great conversations at car shows. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family.

Nothing brought a smile to my face like passing Bud and Shirl on a walk and seeing them holding hands, or catching up with them at Martin's. It was my honor to work with Bud at Lakeshore Studios lamp shade shop.

Bud & Shirley have brought so much light and joy to our neighborhood simply by their daily walks together. My 5 and 3 year old boys love “Mr. Bud and Mrs. Shirley.” We pass by them often on our family walks, and Bud is known for saying “hang on a minute,” and then disappearing into their home and reappearing with a toy car or a wooden, carved animal. He and Shirley spread joy to every neighbor they met, and we have all been touched by them. I’m sure there’s not a neighbor on the block that doesn’t know and love Bud & Shirley. One of my sweetest memories of them was on one particular walk when they greeted us and we chatted and then passed by them. When I stopped to look back, I saw Bud kneeling on the ground in front of Shirley, lovingly tying her shoelaces. That mental picture still makes me tear up. The tender and timeless love that Bud had for his bride will forever be one I desire to live up to in my own marriage. Thank you, to all of Bud’s loved ones, for sharing him with us. He is deeply loved and will be deeply missed. ?

Ron, Sherry and Family, Please accept my condolences to you and the family. I remember seeing Bud and Shirley walking the sidewalks of Stevensville and holding hands. Bud will be missed, but his memories will live on through his family.

Shirley and family, I send our thoughts and prayers to you all. Bud was a great guy, we have memories of fun times, specially the summer we all spent at Besslers camp grounds. That was many years ago.

We moved into our new home on Pioneer in 2011. The first neighbors we met were Bud and Shirley, they were so welcoming. Bud was always smiling and ready with a joke, he told me he’d like every home on our street to put up a sign with the families name. Just like they did-Bud and Shirley Tyler. Hid Bless the Tyler Family.

Shirley and family- My heartfelt condolences & prayers for you all. Bud was one of the nicest people I have ever met. As a newbie in the neighborhood, Bud & Shirley were the first to welcome my family. We always looked forward to seeing Bud & Shirley hand & hand on their many walks and our conversations. We were instantly drawn to them. As time passed, we learned we had many mutual family friends. I just wanted to share that Bud was one the most genuine people I have ever had the honor of knowing. I admired how he was so devoted to his wife & family. My kids & I will miss him dearly & will always remember him fondly.
