Betty 's Memory Wall

Thank you Mrs. Colombel for all of the love you gave to our children and to us. Words can never express the knowledge that we gained by just knowing you and being in your presence. We shall never forget those delicious cakes and cobblers that you made for us. We love you and are grateful that God gave us this time to spend with you here on earth. Sleep on and take your rest, we loved you but God loved you best. Until we meet again in the sweet bye and bye. God bless.

We are sending our condolences to the Colombel family and especially Keittra Casimir. We pray that Mrs. Colombel's memories will provide comfort and solace during your time of bereavement. The burdens that seem too heavy to bear are lifted away on the wings of a prayer. Remember, earth has no sorrow, Heaven can not heal.

Dear Allison & family,
Your mother was a dear , sweet, STRONG woman, that I saw as an example of who to be. I always enjoyed seeing her& hearing about her kids! She was so proud of you all, as individuals. I admired her greatly.
Allison, her love & pride of you was a joy !
I hope you find comfort & peace in your happy memories & lean on the strength she showed you.
My brothers & I still talk about what a sweetie you were when Mom babysat you. I hope this finds you well, in spite of your grief. MM

To the Colombel Family,
I extend my condolences to you.
Betty was our Queen Mother of the South Haven Chapter of the Red Hat Society - "The Sophisticated Ladies" and was known as " The Lady of Canterbury". She was such an inspiration to us all.
She was also a member of "Sundays' Best Book Club". It was a joy and an honor to listen to her read or talk about a book we read with such enthusiasm.
Betty along with her fellow Red Hatters Norma Webb and Carolye Hawkins will forever be in our hearts and remembered as legends.
RIP Betty, our "Lady of Canterbury".

To the Colombel Family, I am sorry for the loss of this great lady. I met her a few times when she and my mother (Mrs. Frances Cundiff) were both teaching in the same building in Covert. My mother had nothing but great praises for Betty. Betty will be greatly missed by everyone who ever knew her.

I worked with Betty when I first started teaching. She was a dear, sweet woman and a strong role model for a young teacher. My condolences to her family. Please know that this teacher fondly remembers her compassion and her mentorship. May her memory live and provide solace during this difficult time. RIP Betty.

Mrs. C was my first grade teacher who had a tremendous impact on me from elementary through high school. She and Mr. C were a part of my extended family with many others. I will be forever grateful for the values and lessons she taught me .
