We have many fond memories of Andrew related to SJHS which include playing bass orchestra. Our oldest son, Jonathan was a classmate of Katie. This is a difficult time of year to loose someone. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. ???

When Andrew was just 18 or 19 and a lifeguard at the Yacht Club, he was so responsible in his pool duties and also so friendly and warm to the kids. I have several photos of him playing with my kids in the pool, allowing them to sit in his chair with his whistle, and sharing with them the many aspects of his job keeping a pool clean and safe. He was a highlight of their pool summers. We are so sorry for the loss of a wonderful, living young man.

I was a student at Tsehootsoi elementary in Fort Defiance AZ. Going to school there and seeing Mr. Lawrence everyday in the morning and after school was great. He was always encouraging and brightened my day before school began. Even in the winter time he was out in front of the school directing traffic, directing parents and knew every kids name. I never seen him down or sad. He was a good reason to get to school early and be positive before classes started. I appreciate his time he gave to us, Navajo students, and the importance of every issue a parent had. I was sad to hear he left us to early. I will always remember Mr. Lawrence and even talk about him with others and I am in 9th grade now. He was a blessing to the students and his community. God Blessed Mr. Lawrence in everything he did in school Tsehootsoi Elementary. Prayers for our bá’ólta’i (teacher).

Andrew was a friend for many years, through Mr. Shenkel's fourth grade class to eating oysters and Po' Boys in New Orleans, and throwing the world's smallest bachelor party of three. We had fun playing music, arguing politics and watching the worst horror movies Jeremy and I could find at Hollywood Video. You will be missed brother, my sympathies to your family.

Our hearts and prayers go out to Andrew's family. He was an amazing person. Always had a smile and kind words for everyone he met. He was a loyal, caring friend who always put others before himself. His energy and positivity brought happiness to those around him. Our son Adam and Andrew ran cross country together from middle school through high school. Both left the area for several years, but both returned in 2021, not knowing that either one had returned they had a chance meeting while at Meijer. A conversation began and a friendship was rekindled. They ran daily together and provided one another with words of support and encouragement. We will all miss Andrew so very, very much. He was a blessing in our lives and to use two of Andrew's favorite words he was ABSOLUTELY AWESOME. We love you Andrew, you will forever be in our hearts and memories, rest peacefully. The Ludwigs

Andrew’s positive energy in high school was so uplifting to me. I will never forget his sparkling smile, or heart warming serenades. He had a beautiful soul that radiated the room that made every one feel important and special. I’m so sorry for the loss of Andrew. His parents taught him to be a wonderful person and having known him, we should all be grateful, as we are better for it.

Sending so much love and condolences to the Lawrence Family. I agree whole-heartedly with all of these sentiments about Andrew. We were childhood friends from the neighborhood; I will never forget our carefree playful days running around Shoreham park, discovering nature, laughing, exploring the train tracks and trails at Hickory Creek, playing kick-ass music in a rock band as teenagers. Andrew was a very intuitive & talented bass player, a star athlete, and an absolute STUD who was loved & admired by so, so many people in our community. His personality, smile, and his eyes were just gorgeous. His friendship was brilliant, uplifting, and charismatic. Andrew will always live in my heart. I hold these fond memories. Sending peace and light to Andrew and to everyone here. Our love will remain strong forever.
