I remember Dean and his parents from when I was a boy at First English Lutheran Church on Kalamazoo St. in South Haven. The Beckwith family was an important part of growing up in that church. My sympathy to Laura and family. May your memories of Dean be a blessing to you.

Dean was a honest, loving, caring person whose humanity wasnt second to anyone. His devotion to the downtrodden was especially exceptional. Ill always remember his authenticity which was indisputably genuine. I always enjoyed his presence and will truly miss that. He was a life long Democrat and I agree and respect that too.
