Velma was one of my favorite vendors at the Farm Market - she always had a smile, a kind word and wonderful baked goods. Her kids were there to support her even on the coldest of days, Velma and the kids had a smile to warm your heart. She will be greatly missed by everyone who's lives she touched. Rest in Peace.

Sis. Blair always treated us as if we were one of her kids. We loved getting to visit with her and Bro. Blair. We admired the hard work and love they put into their farm. We also loved listening to them sing especially when all the boys sang with them. One summer they let us pick strawberries and I had to be drug out of the field. Nothing compared to Blair blueberries. Wow I bet Heaven's choir is really singing now. Love to all the family.

We grieve to hear that Velma has passed. I love the picture of her here, so beautiful & peaceful. She was so kindly and hard-working for her farms, so generous. She always offered us some blueberry bushes or a blueberry pie. She will make a spectacular angel.

I got the opportunity to know her for only a few short years at the farm market but she will be missed. I really liked her, she was a rare lady. I was always impressed with her dedication to it even at 90. My prayers will be with her family. Nick and Julie Fox

I'm so sorry to hear of Mrs. Blairs passing. I first met her in 1962 and was always in awe of her energy and most of all, her kindness.
