RIP Mr. Buchert, I still have a pencil holder you assisted me with making. It was not great work but I enjoyed being in your class and that smile you shared from time to time.

Dear family: I learned so much from Mr. Buchert I cant even tell you. Truly a great teacher and magnificent person. To the family the loss is real and while grief appears feel it and then fight it off with the memories you share.

Mr. Buchert was my driver's training teacher in 1960. I've never had a ticket or caused an accident and I'm 77 years old. My thoughts and prayers to Mrs. Buchert and family. Both Mr and Mrs Buchert were very special to so many students, parents, church family and friends.

Mr. Buchert a teacher I wont or havent forgotten. Leather and Woodshop class. Had a leather key ring for years. Never did well in those classes he was honest and up front and Yep Mr. Buchert knew I would never deal or do woodwork as an adult. Even leather was iffy. Still can see his classroom and him enforcing all the classroom rules. RIP Mr Buchert what a teacher you were.

Dear Mrs. Buchert, and family. Mr. Buchert taught me how to drive way back in 1979. I have always admired both Frank and Mary for being teachers in South Haven. May Mr. Buchert rest in peace.

He was a great Uncle. While I was growing up he was like a much older brother. There to babysit, play jokes, tease and protect. He was a member of the high school band when I was the littlest/youngest baton twirler. The band went to Riverview so we were able to share that. It was the most fun place to be and he was always, always willing to go on the scariest ride. And when Mary came into his life, along with the kids, it just made everything complete. We know you will all miss him, as will we. Hugs, Barb

Mr Buchert was my drivers ed teacher. He was patient, kind and thorough. And then he went to bat for me and convinced my parents to actually let me drive. My deepest sympathy!

So many share your sadness. Mr. Buchert was our teacher on so many levels, whether it be shop class or driver's ed or as a parent who added us to his family. Thank you, Kathy, Patty and Susie for making room for the rest of us. Thank you, Mrs. B for always making us feel so welcome in your home. All of you are in our thoughts. I'm glad that in his passing Mr. Buchert was surrounded by so much love from his family and the community.

To the Buchert family. Sorry for your loss, Frank always had a smile when you spoke to him. I would say, " Do you remember the "McGee gang Tommy & Toyya" oh yes he would say with a big grin. I worked at city hall with Mayor Buchert who also had a big smile. GOD bless your family.

Well Uncle Frank you will be missed very much. The Lord is for sure getting a good man. I have very fond memories of Up in the Northwoods fishing with you and my grandfather, your father, of you letting me drive the car on the back roads, and fishing in spots that to this day I cannot find. And of you helping me put the chain back on my bicycle and turning the handlebars upside down because I thought they looked cool. Lets not forget the time you caught me down by the lighthouse at the Lake where I was not supposed to be. I was all the way across town, you never scolded me you just said lets put the bike in the trunk and go home Aunt Mary has supper ready. I am sure by now grandpa Frank has told you that he was the one that put me up to putting toothpaste on your windshield when you got married and Limburger cheese on your manifold. I hope you can forgive me for that. The Lord has called you home Uncle Frank, though our hearts are very sad we know you are in a better place, God bless you !
