My memories of my cousin Ray are of our entire family moving in with him, his mom and dad and overstaying our welcome by being there with all 7 kids and his parents for 2 full years. Mind you, it was in a 4 room duplex in Hometown. The entire time there was an adventure. But the memory that really stands out was with Ray and my brother Jimmy having to do the dinner dishes. They took the pots and pans out and buried them in the snow never to be found until the snow melted! How 12 people not only survived living in such a small place, but having the time of their lives doing so. The love shared between our families is something that will always live on in my heart, as will my memories of Ray. Living on forever in the many hearts and lives you have touched. Ray used to cook at the firehouse. A full turkey dinner every Sunday. At some point hed call one of the guys over and say hey, keep an eye on the stuffing, Im gonna go have a smoke. 10 minutes later, hed have another guy stirring the gravy. A few minutes later another guy was mashing potatoes. After a while, wed all be making dinner and hed be sitting at the kitchen table, reading the paper, having a smoke, and laughing at us. Im gonna miss him.

I am so thankful for our entire family. Dad would always tell us the stories of what him and Uncle Jim would do. I think they were made from the same mold. Love all of you ️️
