Wally was my neighbor these last few years. When I seen him he would point his finger at me and give a big smile. He loved to fish and would offer some of his catch. Very nice man.My sympathy to Joan and family.

What an amazing human being! We only met him for a little while on earth but hope to hear some of his stories in heaven! Our hearts break for the family but know that he is now free of pain and suffering. Many prayers to each of you as you mourn his earthly death - May all the wonderful memories comfort you until you meet again!

I didnt know or ever meet Wally but his obituary is truly a testimony of his love for his Lord and Savior, Jesus. I was blessed just by reading about his life mission of sharing the gospel with everyone he came in contact with. Well done thou good and faithful servant

I own one of those houses, where Wally's artistry is still amazing after 40 years. Each bedroom ceiling is done in a unique pattern based on the light fixtures. Recently we had a remodel done and a young plasterer came to match the living room pattern and he was truly amazed, and had to look through our entire house at Wally's mastery as he called it. Our heart felt condolences to the entire Dow family. He was an amazing man. The Rushing family.
