Jack was a good and honest friend to my parents , Glenn and Marian Adkin. I appreciate his sincere and frank dealings with me and all our family.

I am very sorry to hear about Jack's death. He was my dad's accountant for a very long time. It's certainly going to be a change not seeing him and his friends together having breakfast at Big Boy every morning. Condolences to his friends and family.

Many memories of Jack and the Tuesday night crew at the Yacht Club during my early years in South Haven! Jack always very kind and just loved hanging out and playing cards with a few close friends! Always just a little bit happier when he was winning! What a group.......laughter and friendship! A gift that lasts forever! You are a winner Jack!

Jack was a friend and business consultant from the first meeting with him many years ago. Slow moving but getting the job done. Always a smile and handshake where ever we met. Rest in peace our friend

I worked behind the soda fountain at MacDonald ‘s Drug Store in the mid 70’s. I remember Jack coming in every afternoon for his cup of coffee. He was always so nice to me.

I remember Jack offering me a job just a week before I had planned a move out of state. I’d been going through a rough patch and greatly appreciated the offer, but declined. We reconnected when I worked in the Senior Service Cafe and bumping into the coffee group at Big Boy! He was always kind and smiling when we spoke! So very sorry for your loss. He will be missed!

Life will never be the same for the Cook's, our Uncle Jack was one of a kind. To me he was the awesome cool Uncle that taught me how to ski, drive a boat, fish, have fun, work hard, but play hard too. Many summers were spent sine I was 10 thru Jr/Sr high with my Uncle, school was out we came North. Loved running the beach, getting my own room(a very rare occurrence for me- with 7 siblings) he made going out to eat at Yacht club, playing cards or bowling special. It was a blessing living with him- his wit and charm & loved a good meal, cooking was easy, making bunker rolls (family favorite our Gram taught us to bake). Life could be a challenge helping get him thru thyroid cancer & cleaning house after the critter rummage the house was no easy task. He always told me I was the closest thing he had to a daughter, especially after Dad (his brother) passed. I know Uncle Jack will always watch out for me. Not a day goes by he won't be dearly missed by all of us. Thank each one of you for your thoughts and prayers the are very appreciated by The Cook family.❤️
