Some people come into our lives, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never the same. I was privileged to hear Bob sing "Good Morning to YOU" while Jane played the piano many times this past year. Bob and Jane modeled being committed to your marriage vows for 65 years and day by day.

We usually met up with Jane with Bob in Spain and Cornwall, UK. Jane was a cheerful, caring lady with a good sense of humour and we always looked forward their company. Our holiday with them, their friends and family in South Haven is still firmly fixed in our memories. Sadly, health problems means we hadn't seen her for some years, although we kept in touch via email and know she had been going through a rough time. Our thoughts are with Bob and the family at this sad time.

Jane's legacy will live on in the beauty of the bridge and so many other projects that she was involved with. What a lovely woman who really made a difference.

To the entire Copping family: I was saddened to hear of Jane's passing. May the many memories of the great times spent with her keep you through these times. Looking at this photo, I can see where Chris, Robin, and Mark got there smiles from! Bob, you are truly a very fortunate man to have had such a fantastic mate to spend your life with for 65 years. God bless all of you.

We met Jane and Bob when we moved into #21 about 20 years ago and were immediately impressed with their friendliness toward us and their love of all things South Haven! Their involvement with SHOUT and their enthusiasm in sharing upcoming events gave our family so many wonderful events to celebrate. We will miss Jane and her walks but will always remember her kindness and generosity. Rest In Peace Jane! Love and prayers!

I met Jane and Bob for the first time in the summer of 1960 when they returned from Germany. From that day I always admired Jane and wanted to be like her. Her talents far outweighed mine, but I could have her haircut and imitate her kind nature. She was a gem! My condolences to Bob, Mark, Chris, Robin, and Jon.

I am so sorry for your loss! Jane was such an inspiration. The very first time I met her on Drummond Island 25 years ago, she and Bob were just arriving at their cabin. They pulled into the drive and both got out of the car with soap, shampoo and towels in hand and headed down to the lake. I asked Chris what they were doing and he said they always jump in the lake as soon as they get to the Island. I thought to myself, "now that's how I want to be when I am their age". Here I am almost the age they were then, and I am not nearly as much fun and adventurous. Jane was one of a kind and will me missed by all that knew her!
