Some of my earliest memories are of celebrating Christmas Eve and New Years Eve with Aunt Kay and our family. She let me watch Jurassic Park (1993) when I was 4 years old and it is still my favorite movie. I think about her every time I watch it. I will miss Aunt Kay and she will always hold a special place in my heart.

I've known Kay since first grade! She and I have been friends for many years. In the high school days we were practically sisters. Me always at her house or she at mine. She was in my wedding in 1994. I will always cherish our friendship and miss her dearly till we meet again.

I am so sorry for your family's loss. Kay and Lisa and Rodney were part of our housekeeping team at Shores and we shared many laughs. I loved Kay as she was always positive and funny and real, plus she laughed at my jokes. It was hard work and she was always a hard working trooper. I will miss her and I wish your family peace and comfort in your many memories. It sounds like she touched many lives.

I remember when our parents would go on vacation, and Aunt Kay, and Lisa would take turns watching us. It seemed like we were on vacation too. Growing up she would always spoil us. Going to visit Granny, her and Kay was always feeding us. She was always willing to help with anything we needed. And that continued for the rest of her life.

I always knew losing you would be hard but never realized the memories that would come flooding back. Thank you for spending so much time with me, you taught me how to swim, instilled a love of camping that I still have today, took me on vacation, spent hours playing games, celebrated New Years Eve annually, and so much more. I aspired to be as good of an aunt as you were to me. You loved Rory so much too. My heart hurts knowing that you’re gone, I could never express how thankful I am to have those memories. ❤️ you always.

Dear Kay, you will be missed! That smile was always there. Worked with you at the coil, many times...we always came back there where we had many friends. Then when you were at the shell station I would get gas and talk with you there. It seems we've been around for many years and our paths always crossed. Knew your family for a long time. Our moms and dads knew each other as well. You, my friend will be missed by many more than you know. Love you. Brenda Fields Balfour
