My memories of Linda were when I was a freshman at Central School and she was an upper classmate! The could go across Broadway and buy 5 cent suckers from Louie's and then lick them in front of all us yungans.!!!! On the front steps of school. She was so pretty and cool....

Linda was my class mate in high school, I met her in sixth grade she had long blond hair in long pony tails. I almost flunked 6th. grade just looking at her. I don't or ever heard of anyone who did not like her. I haven't seen much of her in the last 63years, just class reunions and once at a football game where out sons were on opposing teams. Sorry to hear about her passing. class of 57

Linda and I had a special bond because our dads —Bob Alm and Ed Force— ran Macdonalds Drug Store for many years, dating back to the mid-30’s. Linda and I chatted many times over the years and her sense of humor was classic. There wasn’t anything that Linda couldn’t find a funny side to. I’ve said many times that she was our “Ellen Degeneris.” She also cared deeply about her friends and her family. She was a gem.

Linda was one of my sisters best friends and her brother was one of my best friends. Linda was always so nice to us younger kids. Peace and comfort to her family.

It is a sad day when after 70 years one loses a friend.....a very very good friend ! Linda confirmed she was truly my friend by being ready, willing and able to listen comfort and councel me during my dark period of grief after losing my wife. That was a number of years ago but I have never forgotten. My heart goes out to Dan,Mike and Amy, we have all lost a beatiful person.

my condolences to the family. I was a neighbor on Superior street and I am 83 now. Many memories of the family..I worked at the drug store in my Jr. year of high school. I used to play with Linda when we were children, roasting potatoes in the driveway at the Alm house with her dad and brothers. Those potatoes had a very smoky taste.
