Peter's Obituary
Peter Alan Jackson, 59, of South Haven, passed away Friday, August 14, 2020 at his home. He was born June 12, 1961 to Curtis and Rebecca (Sands) Jackson in Brentwood, New York. He married Charlyn Middleton on July 12, 2000 in Battle Creek. They shared twenty years in marriage. Peter loved being outside fishing. He also enjoyed listening to music, dancing, and being goofy. He worked as an Assistant Manager at Walmart for twenty years.
He is preceded in death by his parents – Curtis and Rebecca Jackson, siblings -Irene Farmer and Michael, David and Gene Jackson.
Peter is survived by his wife – Charlyn Middleton Jackson of South Haven; children – Jessica Rothers of Phoenix, Arizona and Dennis Rothers of Salinas, California; step-children – Allen Jackson of Grand Rapids and Charles Roye of Battle Creek; grandchildren – Ebony Perez, Taeshawn Branch, Cadaysha Roye, and Davion Roye; siblings – Ronald, Leroy (Linda), Jeffrey, Winona, and DeeDee Jackson. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.
Wake will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Friday, August 21, 2020 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven. Funeral services will follow the wake at 2:00 PM with Pastor Joe Wilkins officiating at the funeral home.
