With fond memories of Uncle Joe (Joey). Always remember your visits to Chicago to visit your brothers and sisters. Always remember our summer vacations on the farm with family and friends. What a wonderful time we had with everyone. I especially remember a time you took all nieces and nephews on an hayride with your now antique tractor. What a thrill it was for us Chicagoans. We have lot to remember. Playing horseshoes, fishing on the pier, playing cards, the beach and so much more. PEACE to you and thanks for the wonderful memories. Jennie and Certa family you have my deepest sympathy. My prayers are with you all.

Howard Lynch (nephew) As an only child with a handicapped father, Joe was like a big brother to me. Although 10 years older than me, as child he took the time to let me ride/drive the tractor when he was plowing/dishing the fields. He also took me fishing for perch on Lake Michigan in his little boat and later in life with my son on his big boat. Hetaught me how to clean fish. He also took me spear fishing at Wikey Run and introduced me to smelt dipping when they run at night in frigid Lake Michigan. He was a handyman, building a doodlebug on the farm before he bought his first cat. I envied him. He could fix or make anything. He had a big heart and a great sense of humor. In recent years I enjoyed visiting with him at the annual Michigan Flywheels event. It was like stepping back in time. I will miss him! However, I have many fond memories that I will always cherish and hold dear to my heart. Rest In Peace Uncle Joe, you were the best ?

So sorry to hear of Joe’s passing....but, so grateful to have known a man who was quick to smile & quicker to lend a helping hand without needing to be asked. Jenny & Joe introduced us to the Flywheelers on 68th St. (still seems to be one of South Haven’s best kept secret). Will never forget how he readily assisted with the grassroots group that helped the Township to understand the importance of Deerlick Creek becoming a park. Admire his humble efforts never looking for attention ... we can all learn from Joe. Rest In Peace.
