My condolences to everyone in your family. My favorite memories of Mary Lou were her playing with and treating our young girls with respect. I remember she introduced the game Crazy Eights to Katie so that she wanted to play it every time we went to Doug and Mary Lou’s.

So sorry for your loss. When we went to the farm for the planting and harvesting with Jack and Deb she was always so gracious and feeding us with a smile and a laugh. Our condolences.

So sorry to hear that Mrs. Murdoch has passed. Years ago we went to get our bushes and Mr. Murdock told us about how the rabbits were eating a lot of there small plants. We told them if it was okay with them we would start hunting them and they were glad to hear that. Every time we would go over one of them would come to the door and wave us out back . They were two of the nicest people we have ever met. RIP.

Sad to hear of Mary Lou’s passing. We moved to South Haven in 1977 and went to Cogdal’s (it was called that) to buy trees for our property. We use to tease Mary Lou and Doug that we were Cogdal Nursery South because we bough all our trees from them. We made it a family outing to there with our kids. Even bought Xmas trees with our grandkids there. They were a very sweet couple. God Blessings to the family.

What a beautiful soul, Mary Lou. She always had a smile & conversation. Everyone was her friend and that included all four legged friends. She enjoyed her farm life and picking her asparagus ! My condolences to the entire family.

May Mary Lou now rest in eternal life and peace along with Doug and others that went to God before they did. Mary Lou and Doug were our kind neighbors in Casco Township and we will cherish the memories of going to get our Christmas trees there every year with our family. We always found the perfect beautiful Christmas tree there. To the entire family you are in our thoughts and prayers in the days ahead. May Peace and comfort be upon you as well. I loved Mary Lou's spirit. She was one of my favorite ladies at South Haven Golf club. She always had a smile and a great sense of humor and an encouraging word. RIP. Peace be with you. Donna Klapp-Grow
