Ron was already a fixture at Palisades when I came to work there in 2002. Always a smile and a pat on the back and I never saw Ron get upset. We missed him when he retired and he will be missed now. Rest in peace Ron.

My sincerest condolences to Ron's family. In all my years at Palisades in the Maintenance organization, he was the most honest, and sincere person i ever met at that facility! Honest to a fault, and that was indeed a rare commodity at Palisades! Some of the Security people used to say, "Ron was as pure as the wind driven snow"! That was a very true statement indeed. He will be very much missed. Marty Pfaff

I worked with Ron during his entire time at Palisades. There was never a nicer person to work with, anywhere. I can still hear his laughter when we use to throw rocks at the security fence and put all hands on alert. He finally in a very nice way said, guys, please stop! He is with the Lord now but will be missed by all who knew him. He was a wonderful person and I will miss his smile and telling of Palisades stories.

I have to say I’m heartbroken to see this. Ron was a fantastic person that I’m fortunate to have known. He was absolutely a genuine person. The world will be dimmer without him in it.

Darn. Ron and I started at Palisades together back in the early 70s as decon janitors, and had remained good friends through all the ups and downs that the almost 50 years threw at us. Such a good man ... he'll be missed.
