We moved to ""the neighborhood"" in 1987, and Norm was the first person to introduce himself to us. After years of building a wonderful friendship, we then found out he was a friend of my dad. Words cannot even express what an amazing man Norm was. Everyday when I would go to work, I'd always look and make sure things looked ok at his house. He always left a kitchen light on, and one day it wasn't on, and I noticed a strange vehicle in his driveway. I immediately pulled over and called him. Everything was ok, n he had company. We had many laughs about that. Norm is gonna be missed so bad. Condolences to the family

My late husband worked with Norm at Palisades for many years. We would go to cut our Christmas tree at Norm's for years. Always remember the year he had to bring the track to pull the SUV up the slope and wouldn't take anything extra for it. Such a very nice person. My condolences to the family.

Fond memories of our family going to cut our Christmas tree at Norm's for many years. We would always offer to pay more for the tree. He wouldn't hear of it. We would say hello to the dogs and wish him well. Such a nice man. My condolences to the family.

Oh, my Goodness. He was an institution in that area. He knew the name of every plant on the property, I think he catalogued over eighty. Some that we’re not native to the area. He loved to give special & unique walking sticks that he made himself and I still have mine. He was a treasure of knowledge & Kindness. Eddie Friedman
