Barb and Gary have been extended family since we joined together during a Navy deployment to Iceland in 1974. A follow-on deployment to Sicily, finishing our active duty obligation in Jacksonville FL, returning to Michigan together, flying with the Naval Reserve and General Motors for many years, our families through children and grandchildren have never been very far apart. Through it all Barb has always been the strong and caring one, giving in ways only she could give. Our hearts are struggling to come to terms with our loss. God bless Barb and Gary and their family.

I will miss Barb dearly. Her enthusiasm for life and helping others was contagious! I was blessed to be on many mission trips with Barb and her "can do" attitude. She was such a role model for the youth and she poured her love out to them. Barb also shared her love of plants and gardening with me and gave us many plants when she started digging...we now have a 'Barb' garden at our house. We are lifting you up, Gary, in prayer, and your entire family. What a wonderful woman who was loved tremendously.
With love,
Nancy and Tom Fowler

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Barbara. I got to know her at Cornerstone Church in Brighton, Michigan, many years ago. We both did our training at the same time for Stephens Ministry then we both served in the ministry over two years. I always enjoyed her wonderful sense of humor, stamina for all her activities, kindness, and infectious fun personality.

My heart is so broken today as I have lost one of my dearest childhood friends. From grade school through high school.
In 2018 I believe it was Barb and Gary celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a huge party and Clif and I were so blessed to have been in town to celebrate with them and their large family what a great time everyone had. Her parents were wonderful to me and I spent countless hours at their home and strawberry patch earning money to go to Silver Beach amusement park.
Gary and family I pray God will comfort you all in this so very sad time. God Bless You All.
Lovingly, Lynda Kepner Adams and Clif...
