Mrs. Shreve was my kindergarten teacher at Bertrand school (Brandywine). Many fond memories of her and how she was such a caring and kind person. She truly touched the lives of so many students. My condolences to the family. RIP Mrs. Shreve.

I am so very sad to hear this news of Mrs Shreve, I was one of her first Kindergarten student Le in 1965 at Brandywine. The summer before the school year, I had Mrs Shreve for a pre-school summer school program. Years later, while I always kept in touch, I became a teacher and was able to job shadow with her. It was her love of teaching that helped me to decide to to become a teacher. She will always remain close in my heart. Rest In Peace

Condolences to the family. I had "Mrs. Shreve" for kindergarten. She was an amazing teacher, a loving and caring woman, and a wonderful person in general. She took all of her students on all forms of transportation in her station wagon, on horseback, in boat, by train, airplane. I will always remember her as she was a great teacher and treated her students so well. Sending prayers for comfort and peace to her family. May she rest in peace still teaching up above. I had Mrs. Shreve for a teacher, I still remember after all these years (41 yrs) of when she took us on a class trip to her farm. Mrs. Shreve was an awesome teacher, a wonderful person in general. Her passion for children showed. I will miss her! My thoughts and prayers to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

What a sweet, beautiful and caring Lady. I had seen her only a couple times in more recent years and she always exhibited that strong and caring character. I remember as a young boy attending camp with Neil and Martha and their boys. Neil and Martha treated me so well. I remember throwing a football with Neil and Martha tucking me in at night like I was one of her own children. A special memory. Stan Shreve
