Carrie Elizabeth Zellers

Carrie Elizabeth Zellers, 46, of Saint Joseph Michigan, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at home with her family by her side. A private family gathering will be held. A public celebration of life will be held at a later date. Carrie was born on March 24, 1975, to Thomas and Debbra (Mawhinney) Zellers in Saint Joseph, MI. She graduated from Saint Joseph High School in 1993 and went on to attend Michigan State University. She was employed as a server at Ryebelles, where she worked for many years. Before that, she worked at The Bistro on the Boulevard. Carrie was known for her generous and kind spirit, sense of humor, and enthusiasm for life. She enjoyed going to the beach, boating on Lake Michigan, and visiting Siesta Key, Florida. Her annual parade day parties were enjoyed by her family and friends for years. Carrie is dearly missed by her parents, Tom and Debbie Zellers, her sister, Jennifer Zellers, her aunts and uncles, Tom and Sally Mawhinney, Mark and Linda Mawhinney, Jana and Pete Martin, Karen and Bob Tobar and Mary Ellen and Allen Horney, as well as many beloved cousins, friends and her pets Ziggy and Bob. The Celebration of Life for Carrie Zellers will be held on July 15, 2021, from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at The Solarium (behind The Watermark Brewery) located at 2688 Kimmel Street, Stevensville, Michigan. Carrie lost her battle with cancer on April 13th. Please join us as we laugh, cry and share some of our favorite stories and memories of Carrie. Children are welcome to attend.
