We encourage you to share your most beloved memories of Jason here, so that the family and other loved ones can always see it. Share your favorite stories or comment on those shared by others.
Jason’s Family,
Jason was a man of faith. His love for history was nothing my family has ever seen. The one thing that will stand out to my family is his story. My family witnessed the power of prayer, a miracle, sadness, and if you believe in Jesus you will have eternal life with him. Our children (11yrs, 8yrs, and 8yrs) will have Jason’s story to look back on in their walk with Jesus. My family will be praying that Jesus will wrap his arms around you, and give you comfort in this time on sadness.

Dear Kuntz Family,
It is with great sadness that I hear of Jason’s passing. Jason will always be in my heart and mind as I travel down Buffalo Road, where we would stop and chat with Jason so many times I cannot even count. He was always encouraging and happy to see us every single time we met, as we were always happy to see him. I will always picture him walking toward me on Buffalo Rd. May God keep you close during this sad time. With sincere condolences, Teresa Green

Our time here at Three Oaks Elementary simply did not last long enough. Jason and I shared lunch together many times and simply shared about life. He shared his LOVE of Jesus every chance he could, and always had a smile on his face. Jason made each day fun! Your family will continue to be in my prayers!

To the Kuntz Family, on behalf of Jason…
Jason was an amazing human being. A friend to all an enemy of none and someone that I am so blessed to have been able to share life with. My fondest memories of Jason was always his engaging smile and a zest for life. Someone extremely passionate about his family, friends and his community. Jason was a unique individual that always made someone’s day better when they interacted with him. He was a good person and a good man for anyone to know and be affiliated with. I wish we had more Jason’s in the world. Eric Henckel

What an amazing young man! His love for history and his enthusiasm were remarkable, and a joy to witness., I'm glad he shared both in his public presentations and among young students. He exemplified what it means to be both a student and a teacher of History. His energy amazed me; he taught, shared History, worked at Martin's, and refereed games. I'm grateful for the privilege to have known him. My sincerest condolences to his entire family and to all those whose lives he touched.

The Lake Michigan College family of faculty and staff sends sincere condolences to the family on this incredibly sad loss. Jason stands out as a bright, engaged, and kind student and we were delighted to follow his success. We are very grateful to have known him and to have observed his growth, and are so proud to call him a Red Hawk as well as a Buck. Thank you for sharing him for a while.

Our sincere condolences Mike and Sharon. Lose of a family member is heartbreaking but be it your child ?, nothing could be worse. I recently lost my sister Jackie, but she had a decent life at 71 years old. So sorry and may the lord be with you. Bob and Libby Smith

What a wonderful person. Met him through our son Kirk who worked at Martin's with him. He was alway's so very nice , kind and caring. We alway's joked about Notre Dame and Michigan. Out thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time. Perhaps Jason and Kirk can still joke with each other up there in heaven.
May he rest in peace.

One of the best friends anybody could ask for. Still remember all the nights we would spend being announcers for the little league baseball games. You will be missed

Too many memories to share. Jason was an amazing man and a true follower of Jesus. I was honored to know him through church and to work with him and for the many, many stories we shared. Jason was passionate about many things and truly lived his faith in all he did.
