My deepest sympathy and heart felt prayers go out to Rick and Sue and all their family for their loss of Aaron. I remember back when I was a 10 year old kid when I had just gotten saved and accepted the Lord into my heart and life as a born-again follower of Jesus Christ when my Mom came home with Dawn one day from a "New Comers" meeting and speaking with Helen Bartelt and Mom told me about Jesus----I think it was 1968...about 52 years ago!!! And how Mom really enjoyed her new friendship with you (Rick & Sue) through Helen. Those are very powerful and precious memories as I began my new life and relationship with Jesus Christ as I was going through the last year or so of elementary school and especially during Junior High as I was young punk kid growing older in the early 70's. And Rick, I remember you and Helen Bartelt laying hands on me and praying for me at one of Helen's weekly bible study's during a very difficult period in my life back in 1989-90 when I had lost my job and my world was turning upside down and inside out----I did not know what I was going to do!---- but I always remember your Godly, gentle loving-kindness towards me (Rick and Sue) when I was a new born-again Christian kid growing up as a young teenager----you and Chuck & Delores Wade. and a few others. Man, that was a very very long time ago, but still buried deep within my heart and memory---powerful memories I will never forget and always cherish. Life is short and very precious. The peace of God be with you all during this difficult time as you grieve over your loss of Aaron-----Oh, how God loves us---how God loves us.
