Clara's Memory Wall

Jim and Gary: I would like to convey my deepest sympathy for your mother. I worked with your mom for a very long time at Whirlpool. She was my mentor, friend and guidance throughout my career. Even though we hadn't seen each other often we still exchanged Christmas wishes. So glad that she was able to stay in her home for as long as she was alive. She will be greatly missed by all and so sadden to hear of her passing. She was very special! Shirley (Pantelleria) Barrick.

Dear Clara was a very special lady in many ways to many people. Personally, she was a good friend and a valued colleague for many years. Not many people know that she was a trailblazer as one of the first female managers at Whirlpool. She was always an outstanding contributor and was a quiet but highly admired role model for other women. I can't remember Clara ever uttering a negative or unflattering word about anyone. Her MO was always and genuinely "How can I help you?" and "Ok, let's solve this problem." Maybe best of all, Clara was a great Mother and Grandmother. There must be a special place in Heaven for this special lady. Rest in peace, Dear Clara. With love and respect, your friend, Ed Dunn.

Saddened to learn of Clara's passing. We were classmates, BHHS 1946, and the last time we visited was at our, what was it, our 60th class reunion, talk, talk, talk. I send my sincerest condolences to her family. May warm memories ease your sadness.
