A graduate of St. Joseph High School Class of ’77. She married her high school sweetheart, Franz Bock in 1979. Karen was a loving and loyal wife for 41 years and Frank was so thankful for her love, support, and desire to discover the world together. Karen loved to be outdoors and enjoy God’s creation by hiking, camping, walking, and bird watching. She was her happiest in nature and developed that love in her children and grandchildren. Karen was a sweet and generous mother to Austin and Jennifer and devoted her time and energy to their sports and academics even into their college years. Karen was a deep and thoughtful friend always being considerate of those around her and showed the love of Christ to everyone she met. Karen’s favorite job in the world was being a grandma to Grady (9), Parker (8), and Emery (5). She enjoyed teaching them new things, exploring the world with them, and watching movies together. Karen loved them with her whole heart and was so proud to be a grandma. Her grandchildren were the light of her life and will surely miss her.
