Our family is praying for you. Shirley was one of a kind and ALWAYS had a smile. Few people are as funny Shirley. She was such a good friend to our parents and family. Our Mom and Shirley had a special friendship and they both enjoyed each others pranks and sense of humor. I enjoyed working for Shirley with Dogwood and she is the sole reason it began and fostered into a special event for our community. I'll never forget the trying first two years of its infancy. God's blessings to Leon, Rona, and all of your family.

Shirley was a classmate. She will be remembered as being very community oriented and always having a smile on her face. Will miss our grocery shopping visits as it seems that is where we ran into one another lately.
I am truly sorry for the family. RIP Shirley.

Uncle Leon, Rona and Richard,
I will always remember many of the fun times we had together. Between my Mom (Rowena) and Aunt Shirley, there was never a time when we didn’t laugh at each other or do something that made our trips and times together very memorable. Our hearts and prayers are heavy with her loss from this earth but know her spirit and love of man places her at the hand of God in Heaven!
