I was very touched by the heartfelt love shared by Duane’s grandchildren on the video of the service. I worked at Avion Coach just out of high school in 1974, when he did a lot of hiring for the GMC motorhome conversions. I remember how he laughed when I told him he really needed to hire some good looking young guys! I recall that he had a kind and fair nature, & don’t know if my request was considered, but I subsequently married one of the guys he hired! My sincere condolences to the family, I will always remember Duane fondly, Karen Schuler Wilson (widow of Gary Wilson, whom he hired!)

Tina_ Lil and I are sorry for your loss. We know that your love for him was a much needed encouragement during his Journey of those sunset years, We often had opportunity to lift all of you up before the Lord on Wednesday nights as we gathered together (Virtually) in Napier Prayer Meeting. So sorry to hear of Papa Schneider's passing. All the Schneider's were my family while I lived in St. Joe. I spent many good times with all of you. I especially recall how Duane would snooze during services at Presbyterian church, but would instead blame ME, always calling me "Cindy who sleeps in church!"
