Brit and Getta lived across the street from my parents on Mt. Curve, for many years. Getta was a very friendly, caring neighbor during that time. I would take my daughter trick or treating there every year and we were always invited in for a special treat. Oh, so good.
All my love to her sons, Randy and Mike, who are true testaments to how wonderful and special a woman Getta was.

Randy, I am so sorry to learn of your mom's passing. She was such a lovely woman and proud mother. After she moved to The Whitcomb, I missed seeing her and talking to her in church. I am sorry that the pandemic has prevented me from expressing my sympathy in person. May God bless you and your family and be your comfort in the days ahead.

Randy, wife Barbara and myself were backyard neighbors with your folks (Lane Dr). I wish I had known that they were your parents.
Really lovely people, we miss them. God bless. Mark and Barbara

Mike, I am sorry to learn of your Mom's passing and wanted to say hello after so many past years. I don't think I have ever met your Mom, but it sounds like she was a very sweet, likable, loving and kind woman to all. Do you remember our Milton Junior High School days back in the early 1970's? In 7th grade football you and I were starting at Flanker, running in every other play on offense as Coach Lignell gave them to us. It was our final game of the season as we played at the big Bears football field under the lights at Dickinson Stadium against our future classmates from Upton Jr. High. Those are just some of the precious memories that I hold on to very tight about my school hood days growing up in St. Joe with people like you who I had the pleasure of going to school and growing up with---of course that's been a few years ago to say the least. Last I knew of you, you had told me at one of our Class Reunions you were a Meteorologist (weather man/reporter) for a a local TV station somewhere in Wisconsin. Anyway Mike, God bless you and all your family---and keep your focus on the Lord Jesus, my friend. God loves us ALL---EVERYONE! Romans 10: 9, 10
