Marilyn Lorraine Hill

Marilyn Lorraine Hill, 66, of Benton Harbor, MI, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2020 at Caretel Inns of Lakeland, St. Joseph, MI. Marilyn was born May 12, 1954 in Benton Harbor, MI to Marvin and Emma Bultema. She attended Benton Harbor and St. Joseph public schools until the family moved north where she attended White Cloud High School and graduated. Marilyn later moved back to St. Joseph. On July 22, 1988, she married Larry Hill and worked in the bar he owned called Larry’s Landing until its sale in 1994. She was very energetic and enjoyed the bar business. Marilyn also enjoyed crafts, especially making dream catchers and giving them to friends. Marilyn is survived by her husband, Larry Hill of Benton Harbor; her sons, Scott Allers (Coleen) of St. Joseph, and Anthony Jannings of South Bend, IN; her mother, Emma Kilmer of Yuma, AZ; her siblings, Diana (Terry) Renfro of Yuma, AZ, Judy (Pete) Rudzusieks of Saranac, MI, and Charles Mielke of Yuma, AZ; and her grandchildren, Aiden and Emma Allers of St. Joseph, MI. No services are planned at this time and cremation has taken place. Memorial contributions may be given in Marilyn’s name to the Humane Society of Southwest MI www.humanesocietyswm.org or the Women’s Auxiliary Post 105, Benton Harbor, MI.
