For me, Uncle Skip was a model for how to age with an open mind and an open heart. You always felt that he cared because he truly did.

Lynn and family.... Mr. Kellogg was so impactful in my life as a teacher. I ran into him one day a year or so ago out to eat at lunch and I remember how happy it made me to see him and get a hug. My senior year was successful because of his influence in my life. My heartfelt condolences to each of you for the loss of truly a remarkable man!

Dear Lynn and Family, my condolences on Free's passing. I am thankful to have met him and sad that it was just once. But in just that single interaction, I felt the sincerity, kindness, and care for others that was so evidently fundamental to who he was in word and deed. May the memories you share bring you joy and peace now and always.

My condolences to the family of Mr. Kellogg. I was part of the 1999 graduating class of Coloma High. He was without a doubt one of my favorite and most memorable teachers; I could tell he genuinely loved what he did. He was stern, but never mean or demeaning. I'm glad to have had the opportunity to glean from his beautiful mind. Rest well Mr. Kellogg.

Lynn and family, Carrie and I were so saddened by the passing of Free. Carrie had fond memories of him through Coloma Schools, and was surprised to recognize him at a family gathering.
Free was always so easy and loving as an Uncle. His laughter will be the thing I remember. It was so full and genuine. A close second would be his hugs, just like his laughter, full and genuine:) I wish you peace and loving memories of a good life well lived.
Love, Mark & Carrie

Dear Lynn and the entire Kellogg Family.
So very sorry for your loss. Skip was a one of a kind. Even if you haven't seen himm in many years he was always loved and thought of fondly. No one could give a better bear hug! The man, the myth, the legend, and the angel.

I only knew Free as Skip. Our two families were very close thru the 1950s and 60s. The adults would enjoy "vesbers" (drinking) after midnight Mass. Lots of laughter and sleepy kids.
I have loved both your Mom, and your Dad...and all six of you "kids".
Any time I hear "I'll Catch the Sun" I get weepy, as when Kevin sang at Darlene's memorial. And, I must have listened to the "Bookends" album a lot at your house. Maybe when I was babysitting? I know every word of each song. And feel so much tenderness in being reminded of each and all of the Kelloggs! Sincere condolences to Lynn, who lost her beloved husband. And to each of you who lost a very special father, grandfather, father in law.
