I was so sorry to hear of Margarete's death. I worked with Margarete on my first job at Whirlpool and she was a major influence on me - a very funny, no-nonsense, and extremely knowledgeable woman. I was amazed at her journey - from Germany during the war to America and raising her family. My condolences to her family and hoping that you all have a treasure trove of great memories of this exceptional woman. Sue Bailey

My condolences to Margaret's family. I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Margaret at Whirlpool when we developed and installed a new manufacturing system in the late 80's. The obituary does an excellent job of describing her. Margaret was always sent to the plants to train the users there to correctly use the system. She oversaw a key part of Whirlpool's Manufacturing System and made sure that it functioned correctly. Her daughter, Monica worked for me and Margaret had raised her to be a very talented, successful person. Margaret was a memorable person. We will all miss her.
