Mickey Bowman was a trustee at the Berrien Community Foundation for over 10 years. She brought light, fun and compassion to the board directors and the entire community. For the Foundation's 65th anniversary, Mickey looked through pictures and shared stories and laughs about friends and members. She will be missed.

We were so lucky to have Mickey as our neighbor for the 15 years we lived on Seneca. Bob and I were lucky to have known her.

So sorry to hear about Mickey. I am writing this for two people, me to Larry and his family, and for mom, Bess Miller. My mom and Mickey were best friends since they went to high school together. They always had the best times together and made many memories, very funny ones! My mom is in Crown Pointe assisted living currently. I will go out to see her and give her the news. I know she'll be terribly upset when I tell her. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Such a wonderful and amazing woman. It was an honor to have Mickey serving on the hospital board and fearful for all Get volunteer efforts at the hospital. So much fun with Get at Mackinac Island MHA meetings each year. So positive, happy, and kind. What a great life she enjoyed. Condolences to her wonderful family.

Mickey, was such a lovely person. Always upbeat and smiling. She always made our day when she would visit the Salon. She will be missed but not forgotten. RIP
