Dear Catherine, I'm so very sorry for your loss. I hope Ron's life gave you memories too beautiful to forget. I will always remember that twinkle in Ron's eye which made him look as if he was up to something. Peace & love, Janis Guckenberger

We spent many happy Thursday afternoons with Ron at the Senior Center playing cribbage. Ron always had a good tale to share and we enjoyed his company. His was a life well lived.

Sad news. Ron was a childhood hero for me. I first saw Ron when he put on a Judo demonstration for us when I was in grade school (River School). I only met him a few times but the last time I saw him he was helping to raise money for a good cause at Rogers Grocery. It was a great day for me because I got to tell him what a great influence he was for me. God bless you Ron.

We were mobilized for Desert Storm/Shield in November, 1990 and I enjoyed knowing SFC Ron Ravitch. He was clearly a Mensch and we will miss his delightful presence in this world. May God comfort his family during this time of grief.
